This is it, gravel grinders. We are back! The fifth edition of LtD Gravel Raid. That's why Laurens dropped a great idea: let’s celebrate the fifth anniversary together with friends and family. The ultimate Live Slow Ride Fast experience.

Live Slow with food, drinks, music, activities, games, social talks and live in the moment in four areas suiting your vibes. Ride Fast with challenging routes and timed segments and partying to the max! The weekend is renewed, improved and gearing up to become more extensive than ever. Enjoy a fully revamped experience - day and night!

Join us for a weekend that was 50 million years in the making! The phenomenal landscapes of the Rhenish Massif, created from volcanic rock, are what make the Eifel region so famous, and a place that both delights and tortures gravel cyclists.

On Saturday we take you over easy to ride gravel paths, beautiful forest roads, challenging climbs and fantastic views. Ride Fast at the timed segments, beat Laurens and your friends. On Friday and Sunday you discover the Hellenthal area on your own, with family or friends with our no-drop and DIY rides.

Dance, dance, dance! LtD Gravel Raid is more than just riding your gravel bike. On the Festival Stage and the Chill Out Zone you enjoy the Live Slow part of the weekend. Friday is the warm up with easy listening, our friends the Vinyl Draaiers and there will be more. Just a tip: don't start your weekend too hard...

After a beautiful and challenging ride on Saturday it's time to party. Go all out! LtD Gravel Raid turns into a real music festival. Expect live music, rock and roll, DJs, Deutschle Schlagers and chillings.

Get spoiled by excellent food and drinks

Gravel grinding and partying are very demanding. That's why you get spoiled with delicious food, drinks and craft beers. Mmmm! The best start of the day is with Il Magistrale Cycling Coffee. Enjoy top notch breakfast, lunch and dinners (including vegan options of course). Kwaremont and Bavik are waiting for you at the Kwaremont Koerse Kaffee. No bonking at all during Race Day with extensive feed zones along the course.

What is the registration fee?
The LtD Gravel Raid Full Weekend Early Bird Ticket price is € 225.-, valid until May 29 2023. The Regular Ticket price is € 250.-. The Late Entry Ticket Price is € 275.-.

The LtD Gravel Raid Full Weekend Non-Rider Ticket price is € 185.-.

What is included in the price?
Well, there is a lot included! LtD Gravel Raid always delivers with amazing gravel routes, Friday and Saturday dinner, Saturday and Sunday breakfast and Saturday BBQ lunch, a music festival, goodies and much more. Check the total package now.
What does the route look like?
At LtD Gravel Raid you'll ride in the mesmerizing Eifel. Expect easy to ride gravel paths, beautiful forrest roads, challenging climbs and fantastic views. Saturday is Race Day, it's the Ride Fast part of the weekend. Choose a 100 or 115 km route and go all out on the three challenges. Maybe you'll be rewarded with great prizes! On Friday and Sunday you can discover the outstanding beauty of the Eifel by riding one of our DIY rides. The start location, extensive lunch stop and finish festival are at Camping Wildbach in Hellenthal. We'll communicate the routes and GPX files one week prior to the event.
What bike do I need?
Preferably you'll ride on your gravel bike with wide tires (38 mm). But a CX or mountainbike is also an option. We urgently advice not to bring a road bike unless you're an experienced rider and your bike has enough clearance for at least 33 mm tires with profile.
Is food included?
A lot of food is included: 
  • Friday and Saturday dinner
  • Saturday and Sunday breakfast
  • Saturday BBQ lunch
  • Two feed stations
  • A pre-ride Il Magistrale Coffee
  • A post ride Kwaremont beer (or soft drink)
Until when can I register?
There is no closing date regarding registration. But don't wait too long, we might run out of tickets. As soon as we are sold out we will close the registration, that may be well before the event will take place. 
Where is the start and finish?
The start, finish and music festival are at Camping Wildbach in Hellenthal.
Where can I find the program?

Can anyone join LtD Gravel Raid?
The organisation recommends everyone not to perform heavy exercise without sufficient physical preparation. Make smart choices in terms of the distance you wish to complete and the pace you want to ride at. Those who want to exercise at a high intensity, with performance in mind, are urged to get a yearly medical check-up by a qualified (sports) physician.

It is not necessary to present medical certificates. It is up to the participant to decide what to do with his or her medical information. As such the organisation is not responsible in this area.
